We are very close to the end of the 2023 season in the Counter-Strike competitive scene, and for the last event of the season, the BLAST Premier World Finals, we already know 7 of the 8 participating teams.

Let’s remember that the BLAST Premier World Finals is the event that officially ends the Counter-Strike season and distributes an excellent amount of $1,000,000 in prizes. However, securing a place for this tournament is not easy for the teams. Generally, teams that have won some of the most important tournaments of the season or have earned the necessary amount of points participate in this tournament.

BLAST announce that MOUZ, ENCE, and NaVi secured their tickets to the World Finals 2023

Through a post on its official Twitter/X account, BLAST announced that MOUZ, ENCE, and NaVi have secured their tickets to the BLAST Premier World Finals 2023. Recall that this tournament will be played in December 2023 in Abu Dhabi, the second time that BLAST will stop in this beautiful city after it did so for the first time in the previous season.

As the post shows, MOUZ gets its ticket after the ESL Pro League S18 victory. At the same time, both NaVi and ENCE add up the amount of points needed to qualify for the tournament.

As a result, these three teams join Heroic, Team Vitality, and FaZe Clan, who secured their tickets after winning the BLAST Premier Spring Final, Paris Major, and ESL Pro League S17, respectively. Finally, G2 Esports sealed their ticket after their accumulated points, just like ENCE and NaVi.

The last qualifier for the BLAST Premier World Finals 2023 will come out of the BLAST Premier Fall Final, which will be played at the end of November 2023. Similarly, if one of the already qualified teams wins the Fall Final 2023, the overall points standings will decide the last place.

Several teams to look forward to

While it is true that several teams can take this eighth place at the World Final 2023, we have several teams that could qualify for points in case the Fall Final 2023 is won by one of the qualified teams.

We are talking about Astralis, Cloud9, and Team Liquid, which have 5325, 4025, and 3725 points, respectively.

It is unknown whether the IEM Sydney or the ESL Challenger Jönköping will give points to the participating teams. However, what is clear is that the BLAST Fall Showdown and the Fall Final will. As a result, Astralis’ points advantage over C9 and Liquid could easily be reduced.
