After three seasons out of major playoff contention in an early manner, Smart Omega’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roster aims for a bigger and newer comeback.

Two ex-RSG Philippines stalwarts have beefed up the Omega roster, in the form of John Paul “H2WO” Salonga and Dexter “Exort” Martinez as their new jungler and midlaner, respectively.

The team will be joined by holdovers from the S12 roster, such as M2 World Champion flexi role Carlito “Ribo” Ribo, Nowee “Ryota” Macasa, Ron “Matt” Papag, Jomari “Jowm” Pingol, and newcomers Gabriel “Louis” Ariola, Ryan “Rayl” Asaoka, Christian “West” Mangabay, and Mark Glenn “Kram God” Florencio.

The Omega coaching staff has also been beefed up, with ex-Blacklist Academy coach Lemuel “Lembot” Lucban as an assistant coach and Alec “SN4P” Alberto as analyst to back up the returning head coach Ronel “Stronger” Tan.

Smart Omega has been in the 5th to 6th spots since season 10 and up until season 12, with their current best finish at second place during MPL Philippines Season 9.

The said move complements their recent beefing up of both the main and developmental rosters, with Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog being moved to the Omega developmental roster, Omega NEOS, in a bid to also strengthen its overall MLBB presence.
