League of Legends patch 13.4 brings a major update to the game focused on balancing the jungle through some changes to the comeback experience and several direct buffs and nerfs to junglers, among a whole host of other changes.

League of Legends has seen a long line of sweeping balance changes since the pre-season patch, and it won’t stop with 13.4 either. The Balance team continued to make changes to break up the current meta.

Tired of the tank jungle meta?

The main focus of 13.4 seems to be breaking up the current tank jungle meta where AP tanks like Amumu, Maokai, and Zac dominate in both win and pick rates. Many of the strongest junglers get nerfed, while Viego gets a buff due to its poor win rate.

Also, jungle clear is being adjusted, comeback XP is being nerfed, a few mid laners are being buffed and nerfed, and some additional changes are coming to the bot lane through support items and a few ADC champions being buffed/nerfed. It’s a really big patch. The new patch will be rolled out to the live servers today.
