The LEC 2024 is set to kick off on January 13, 2024, with a superweek featuring a total of 15 matches over the weekend. The league has released the official schedule for the first week, which includes some exciting matchups and reveals the opponents of GIANTX, Team Heretics, and MAD Lions.
On Saturday, January 13, G2 Esports will face off against Team BDS at 5:00 PM, followed by SK Gaming vs Rogue at 6:00 PM, Fnatic vs Karmine Corp at 7:00 PM, GIANTX vs Team Vitality at 8:00 PM, and MAD Lions KOI vs Team Heretics at 9:00 PM.
The following day, January 14, GIANTX will take on Team BDS at 5:00 PM, followed by SK Gaming vs MAD Lions KOI at 6:00 PM, G2 Esports vs Karmine Corp at 7:00 PM, Fnatic vs Team Vitality at 8:00 PM, and Rogue vs Team Heretics at 9:00 PM.
Finally, on Monday, January 15, Vitality will face off against Team BDS at 5:00 PM, followed by GIANTX vs Team Heretics at 6:00 PM, MAD Lions KOI vs Karmine Corp at 7:00 PM, G2 Esports vs Rogue at 8:00 PM, and Fnatic vs SK Gaming at 9:00 PM.
Of all the matchups, the most anticipated is the MAD Lions vs Team Heretics, which will be the first European match between the two teams. Other exciting matchups include Karmine Corp vs G2 Esports and Fnatic vs GIANTX.
Fans can catch all the action on the LEC Twitch channel, as well as in Spanish on the LVP and on the co-streaming platform of the Spanish teams. The results of the first week will not only determine the early standings, but also set the tone for the rest of the season.
