Kick x Regiment GG host 10,000 Dollar Warzone tournament

REGIMENT GG & Kick have announced the $10,000 Call of Duty Warzone Tournament. The event is designed to unite veterans and active soldiers with the power of gaming and help them work through trauma. REGIMENT GG and Kick.com are co-hosting the Call of Duty Warzone tournament this Saturday.

On Saturday, November 25, REGIMENT GG and Kick are going to be hosting a CoD Warzone tournament with a $10,000 prize pool. Twenty influencers will be seleced to lead their teams as captains and compete for the prize along with 40 veterans or active duty soldiers. REGIMENT GG is a huge military gaming community and is trying to help active duty service members and veterans through the power of playing together, networking and sharing experiences.

REGIMENT aims to bring veterans and soldiers together through gaming

REGIMENT was founded three years ago with the express purpose of uniting veterans and members of the U.S. Armed Forces through the power of gaming. In studies, it has been proven, that some video games have been proven to help soldiers and veterans to recover from physical and emotional trauma. REGIMENT has focused on helping soldiers on overcoming issues after and during serving their duty.

Veterans are people who have usually completed a period of military service. They can come from different branches of the military, such as the army, navy or air force. After their service, they often return to civilian life and face various challenges.Gaming to help with traumaPost-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health disorder that can occur after someone has experienced traumatic events, such as those that often occur in war. Symptoms of PTSD often include nightmares, flashbacks, sleep problems and irritability.Veterans are often at higher risk for PTSD due to their experiences in war and other stressful events.

Gaming for Mental Health

Various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and group therapy can be helpful in managing symptoms. Games allow soldiers or veterans to socialize with other people and make social connections.This can be helpful for people with PTSD because social support is an important factor in coping with trauma.

It’s also important to raise awareness of the challenges veterans face and give them the recognition and support they deserve as they try to recover their mental health and lead fulfilling lives after their military service.

This is where REGIMENT wants to help and has teamed up with Kick, the Twitch competitor, to organize this extraordinary event.

It is not yet clear who the influencers are who will lead their teams as captains, and the remaining players have not yet been announced either. However, we won’t have to wait much longer to see who will be playing, as the tournament starts on Saturday!
