The longest-running Counter-Strike statistics website, HLTV, will hold its annual award Show in 2022. In this event, different CS:GO categories will be awarded, which we will see below.
Award Show 2022 will occur next Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Stockholm, Sweden.
About HLTV Award Show 2022
At the HLTV Award Show 2022, we will find out who the top three CS:GO players of 2022 are, according to HLTV.
In addition, we will also have awards for 12 other categories, including the women and marginalized genders category, which saw an exponential increase in popularity in the season just ended thanks to ESL Impact CS:GO.
The editors highlight seven nominations: AWPer of the Year, Captain of the Year, Entry Fragger of the Year, Lurker of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Best Team of the Year.

As for the players, HLTV contacted the top 20 ranked teams to select one of their players to give their preferences.
Criteria for selecting the 20 best players of the year
- Statistics: The primary measure will be the player’s statistics.
- Personal awards: The number of MVPs and EVPs ranked by importance in the championship.
- Sample size: Player consistency during the season.
- Lack of reference to recent events: The level of the players throughout the year will be considered.
How to watch the HLTV Award Show 2022
To witness this event, you must visit the official HLTV Twitch channel on January 14, 2023. The hosts of this gala will be SPUNJ, Maniac, Jasmine “Veracity” Kanuga, and Pala Gilroy.
