GTA VI trailer to be released in December

After many rumors in recent months, Rockstar Game, through its president in an official statement, made public that the trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto game will be released in December.

This is excellent news for all of us who love this type of video game and have been waiting for the new installment for many years. Let’s remember that GTA V is still one of the most played games worldwide, and there is no doubt that GTA VI could easily surpass it.

GTA V has been with us for over 10 years since its launch on PS3 and Xbox 360 in mid-2011. However, with this announcement, everything seems to indicate that the saga continues and that we will soon enjoy the next game.

Rockstar Games announces GTA VI trailer for December

Through a post on its official Twitter/X account, Rockstar Games, through its president, Sam Houser, announced that the trailer for GTA VI will be released in December.

We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.

This announcement comes completely “empty,” that is to say, without images, GIFs, illustrations, or previews of what could be GTA VI, and even, they do not even say exactly what the name of the game will be. As a result, fans are beginning to think that maybe Rockstar decided not to use the number 6 (VI) as it did at the time with two of the iconic games of this saga, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas.

The Game Awards – The stage for the trailer reveal of the new GTA?

The only thing we know regarding the release of the trailer for the new GTA is that it will be “in early December,” which suggests that the announcement will be made during The Game Awards 2023. This video game awards gala takes place next December 7, 2023.

As we can see in the post on Twitter/X, Houser thanks all the fans and gamers worldwide and mentions that nothing would have been possible without them.

On the other hand, the president of Rockstar Games recalls when he created the company (1998) and mentions that his plans were for video games to be “part of the culture” of people.

GTA V, the latest installment of Rockstar Games’ GTA games, was released in 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360. Then, they opened their doors to PC fans in 2015 and finally came to next-gen consoles in 2022. Finally, the popular GTA Online is 10 years old with us.

We are very much looking forward to the release of this new GTA that will undoubtedly bring us back to our childhood, just like we enjoyed Vice City, San Andreas, and even GTA V.
