The emotions of the Brazy Party continue, and Groups A and B are very close to defining which will be the third and fourth qualifiers for the playoffs. However, last Friday, April 28, we saw how GODSENT and BIG were eliminated from the tournament after losing to Eternal Fire and paiN Gaming in the Elimination Match.

On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that in the Winners Match, we had two crushing 2-0 victories by Apeks and Into The Breach. As a result, OG will play against Eternal Fire for second place in Group A, while 00 Nation will do the same against their Brazilian compatriots, paiN Gaming.

Eternal Fire send GODSENT home with reverse sweep included

The Turks scored an excellent victory against the Swedes in a thrilling series with a 2-1 score. GODSENT started by winning the first map after six overtimes, but Eternal Fire recovered to win maps two and three and advance to the Group A Decider Match.

It all started on Inferno, where both teams delighted us with an impressive CT side. First, Eternal Fire started on the right foot by winning the first half 10-5. Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli was the hero to stop the Swedish offenses in this game. Then, however, GODSENT applied the same dose and struck back immediately, as with a 10-5 run on their CT side, they managed to even the score 15-15 to send the map to Overtime.

Finally, after six Overtime rounds, GODSENT won with a 25-22.

We moved to Anubis, the map pick of Eternal Fire, where we again enjoyed an intense and exciting match. This time, the Swedes could take the partial victory in the first half by 8-7. However, despite all the efforts of William “draken” Sundin on the CT side, they could not contain MAJ3R, who, without a doubt, was playing at an excellent level. In the end, Eternal Fire took the win 16-14 to even the series 1-1.

Finally, the teams met on Mirage, the decisive map. Eternal Fire could use their excellent offensive capabilities to take a comfortable 16-9 victory and eliminate GODSENT from the Brazy Party.

PaiNs end BIG’s hopes in Group B

The Brazilians of paiN Gaming and Eternal Fire achieved a remarkable victory by reverse sweep against BIG to continue with life in the Brazy Party in Group B.

The series started in Mirage, BIG’s map pick, and, undoubtedly, it was a scandal we witnessed. However, the German team was practically perfect in all their approaches in this first map, and with the help of Karim “Krimbo” Moussa and Nils “k1to” Gruhne, they managed to crush the Brazilians with a score of 16-5.

We all thought BIG would have the series in their pocket after this crushing victory. However, the Brazilians had an ace, Romeu “zevy” Rocco.

In Nuke, paiN Gaming’s map pick, BIG started very strong on their side CT to give a second consecutive blow to the Brazilians. But, unlike the first map where paiN could not win even one round at the change of sides, in Nuke, they managed to come back from 4-11 down to send the match to Overtime. Zevy and Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt achieved the feat after signing an impressive CT side. Finally, after four Overtime, paiN Gaming managed to take the victory by 22-20 to tie the series 1-1.

Finally, in Vertigo, one of the favorite maps for the Brazilian community, the paiN Gaming guys, this time with Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato as the main protagonist, achieved a flawless victory by 16-12 to take the victory in the series and eliminated BIG from the tournament.

Apeks destroy OG and qualify for playoffs

On day 3 of the Brazy Party, we had games full of Overtime, and Apeks vs. OG was no exception. However, this time, Apeks took the honors with a resounding score of 2-0 and thus qualified for the tournament playoffs.

Ancient, OG’s map pick, was the stage that kicked off this spectacular series, and both teams left everything in each of the rounds played. After an 8-7 favorable to OG in the first half, we watched Apeks strike back and finish 15-15 the first 30 rounds of the map. Finally, after four Overtime, Apeks took the win 22-20. Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad was the team’s best player on this map.

In the second map, Anubis, we observed more of the same, as there was an almost absolute balance in the development of the match. Apeks took the partial victory on the T-side with a score of 9-6. At the change of sides, OG won the pistol round but could not stop Apeks’ fast-paced offense and ended up conceding the map with a score of 12-16.

OG will have to play against Eternal Fire to fight for second place in Group A and qualify for the playoffs.

Into The Breach prove they are in a great moment and crush 00 Nation

The British team gave a great blow on the table in this match against the Brazilians and got a resounding 2-0 victory to continue demonstrating their excellent momentum. In addition, we also had an Overtime in this series, so 100% of the series of the third day of the Brazy Party took a map, at least, to Overtime.

Into The Breach proved why they selected Anubis as the first map. With Cai “CYPHER” Watson (131.3 ADR and 2.09 Rating) and Karol “rallen” Rodowicz (107.6 ADR and 1.76 Rating), they managed to crush 00 Nation with a terrible score of 16-3.

On the second map, we were very close to witnessing a real thrashing by the ITB boys. The first half ended with a scandalous 13-2, a much worse score than in the first map of the series. However, Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer was in charge of waking up his teammates, and they managed a spectacular comeback to even the score 15-15 and sent the game to Overtime. Finally, the Brazilians’ gas ran out in round 28, as they lost six consecutive rounds to concede the map with a score of 15-19.
