After receiving news about first LAN finals of the Champion of Champions Tour taking place in Malta, the organizer has now followed up with a reveal of the new competition named CCT National Leagues. And Fragster CS:GO League is excited to be one of its partnered leagues!

The CCT National League is a new CS:GO competition that will run concurrently with the CCT and will operate as a separate entity under the CCT umbrella, eventually merging into the Tour’s online series.

To facilitate the National Leagues, CCT has teamed up with 13 partners across Europe.

CCT National Leagues format

Competitors will progress through their respective region’s National League, and winners will earn a spot in the CCT Core Round. The winners of each National League will be included in the CCT points system, giving them the opportunity to earn points in subsequent online series and qualify for a spot in the Studio Finals.

This initiative aims to create more avenues for regional talent to participate in the CCT and showcase their skills on the global stage.

The following 2023 will also introduce a new event exclusive to National League winners – the CCT National Finals. At this event, winners of each region will compete to determine the sole champion of the CCT branch.

Confirmed partner leagues

Thirteen league partnerships have been confirmed for CCT National Leagues, with more being considered in the near future.

Fabian Logemann, Head of Tournaments, has this to say about the CCT National Leagues:

“We created the Champion of Champions Tour with the ambition to offer opportunities to teams, brands, tournament organisers and most importantly the players who work tirelessly to make it in the game they love so much. Today, we’re happy to announce that CCT National Leagues is opening more pathways for players to compete in our global circuit and are acknowledging the impressive efforts of tournament organisers around the world. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with this strong group of organisers and to bring the CCT to even more communities.”

The list of confirmed leagues includes:

  • A1 Gaming League Bulgaria
  • Esc Online Master League Portugal
