Konstantinos-Napoleon Tzortziou, or FORG1VEN as he is more commonly known, is searching for a new team ahead of the upcoming League of Legends season. It has been revealed that the Schalke substitute will be “allowed to discuss offers” from interested parties, with the Greek Bot Laner having vast experience within the scene.

FORG1VEN joined the Schalke 04 roster for the 2020 season, having spent the previous year as a free agent following military service in his homeland. However, after some disappointing results during the opening weeks of the 2020 LEC Spring Split, the former SK Gaming and Origen player announced that he would not return to action until significant changes were made.

What Has Led Up to FORG1VEN’s Search for a New Team?

However, this was a move that ultimately backfired, with Schalke choosing to bring in ADC Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev from their academy roster, meaning that FORG1VEN was benched, not for the first time in his career. With Bulgarian Innaxe in their ranks, Schalke’s fortunes did improve for a short time, however results mean that the teams’ biggest achievement came in qualifying for the LEC Playoffs over the summer.

The Greek player was benched by Origen back in 2016, with the team having made such a move as a result of “motivational issues”. FORG1VEN was undoubtedly one of the leading ADC’s during the EU LCS time, however his performances have dipped since then. Having reached the 2016 World Championship semi finals with H2K Gaming, alongside “Odoamne”, “Jankos” and “Vander”, the veteran has had uninspiring spells with Elysium Gaming, Different Dimension, We Love Gaming and now Schalke.

How Likely is it That FORG1VEN Will be Snapped Up?

With a host of players in the League of Legends scene currently looking for a fresh start, FORG1VEN will have his work cut out if he is to return to the LEC ahead of promising rookies. A player of his experience would have previously seen FORG1VEN walk into an LEC starting lineup, however this is no longer the case.
