After failing to qualify for the BLAST Paris Major, the Falcons have announced that they intend to start an English-language roster effective immediately.
The Falcons have announced that they will be benching Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle and that Kenny “kennyS” Schrub will serve as the organization’s content creator going forward. These moves follow the unsuccessful campaign at the BLAST Paris Major RMR. You can find out how the team will continue here!
Falcons want English-language roster
The statement revealed that the organization intends to switch to an English-speaking roster and that the team will be withdrawing from competitive leagues while they explore options for the two vacant roster spots. It was also mentioned that the plans to use KennyS as a content creator were decided in advance.

Like many other teams on the French scene, the Falcons began restructuring their roster late last year ahead of the BLAST Paris Major. kennyS was signed in November, replacing Bryan “Maka” Canda after failing to qualify for the IEM Rio Major.
Alexandre “Bodyy” Pianaro joined earlier this year as the Saudi organization tried to assemble a team that could qualify for the Major in Paris.
Falcons saw mediocre results
The team showed promising results soon after signing bodyy, finishing second in both the Thunderpick Bitcoin Series 2 and the OMEN WGR Challenge, and successfully progressing through the Open Qualifiers for the BLAST Paris Major Europe RMR A has.

They beat MOUZ and Sprout in the RMR, but lost to GamerLegion and OG and slipped into the Last Chance Qualifier. The Falcons fought valiantly against BIG over two maps but were eventually defeated by the Germans, dashed their hopes of making a major appearance in their home country.
Python was tied alongside kennyS as the lowest-rated Falcon player in the RMR and Last Chance Qualifier, while also being the lowest-rated player for all of 2023. Initially, it looked like Python would not be a part of this Falcons line-up but reportedly difficulties between bodyy and Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss have resulted in the latter giving way instead.
Unrealistic expectations
kennyS shared his thoughts on his stint with the Falcons in a Twitlonger: “I’m truly grateful for the chance that has been given to me, I had the chance to qualify and play the last CSGO major in my home country. Sadly it won’t be the case, it’s painful and will remain one of the biggest regret of my career.”

The French AWPer felt he had shown he was “able to come back at a really high level despite a long break from pro-play” but was “overwhelmed” by the RMR after being treated with “unrealistic and idealistic expectations”.
This is the Falcons roster now:
- Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt
- Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro
- Kevin “misutaaa” Rabier
- Steve “Ozstrik3r” Flavigni (coach)
- Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle (benched)
