The ESB will organize three major Dota 2 tournaments as part of the league next year. BetBoom will also organize Dota 2 events and contribute a lot of prize money.

Electronic Sports Broadcasting, or ESB for short, is a tournament organizer from Peru. ESB will host the league next year – it’s worth around 2 million dollars.
It will have three tours, one worth 1 million dollars and two worth half a million. The first tour will take place from April 3 to 14, 2024, the second from July 24 to August 4 and the third at the end of the year, from November 27 to December 6.

Plenty of Dota 2 events planned for 2024

After the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) was discontinued, most assumed that ESL would be the sole tournament organizer, but that has now changed as some organizations have realized that they can step in and create an alternative. Electronic Sports Broadcasting, which regularly broadcast DPC content for South America, will now host next year’s league.

When the plans for next year’s league were announced on Twitter, the future organizer revealed that the three tournaments would bring together some of the biggest lineups from around the world. A few new formats are also set to be introduced, so it remains exciting.

The prize money for the first two tournaments is half a million dollars in total, and there will be 1 million dollars in prize money for the final.

In the tweet, the ESB explained that they started 6 years ago and have big plans for next year. They thanked the viewers and wrote: “A few years ago, we embarked on this journey and started from humble beginnings with professionalism, humility and tremendous efforts. Little by little, we have built a close relationship with all of you who follow us closely at each of our broadcasts.”

ESB plans to announce more details about its plans for 2024 soon. Many people in the community were happy to hear the news, as there is a huge amount of money available and ESB seems very ambitious to provide a great experience for the fans. It’s also a huge step for the professional Dota 2 scene in South America, which also has a chance to shine.

BetBoom will host two 1 million dollar events

But the good news doesn’t end with the ESB! BetBoom also recently announced two events with prize money of 1 million dollars each. The two events are scheduled to take place in February and October next year.

All in all, very good news for the Dota 2 scene. Many people thought that next year was going to be bleak, but it seems that other organizations have seen their chance and stepped up, meaning that fans will get plenty of exciting events.
