Semifinal reverse sweep by ENCE
The first map Nuke picked by ENCE didn’t look good for Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer’s team at first, but at the beginning of the second half, they came back into the game and took a 10-9 lead. However, it wasn’t enough and GamerLegion won the map 16:12.
On Inferno, GamerLegion shone with a strong T-side that they finished 11-4 at halftime. ENCE didn’t want to give up so easily and made a perfect comeback, closing the game with a 16-14 scoreline.
The game continued on Ancient, where ENCE took a 10-5 lead after the first half and maintained the pressure even after the break. With 16-10, they finally got the last map and advanced to the Grand Final, to face HAVU.
Meanwhile, the Finns secured their own place in the Grand Final after defeating HEET 2-0 in their semi-final match.
ENCE and HAVU last met in November at the Elisa Masters Espoo in a best-of-one duel, which ENCE claimed after a 16-10 win on the first day of play.
ENCE overrun HAVU
The final battle began on Ancient, where HAVU took an early 5-0 lead before ENCE came into play. Pavle “Maden” Bošković led down the T-side to give his team a chance, scoring six rounds by half-time, but HAVU continued to impress after the break, leading 12-6 and then 14-9.
ENCE stayed stoic on defense, denying HAVU any chance to end the game in regular time and putting the match into overtime before claiming the first Grand Final win.

HAVU immediately took command again on their map pick Dust2 and made an impressive 10-1 start on the T-side. However, ENCE finally found their rhythm and stopped the Finnish onslaught, winning 14 of the 17 following rounds to take a 15-13 lead before denying a last-second comeback from HAVU. The map ended in Round 30.
This crowns ENCE the Northern European CCT Champions and we will see them play for $100,000 in the CCT Central Europe LAN Finals in Malta in February 2023.
