The new edition of the Elisa Masters Espoo is just around the corner, and we already have all the information regarding the tournament that will be held at the end of November at the Espoo Metro Arena in Finland.

There will be 8 teams present at this tournament, 5 of which were invited by the organizers, while the other 3 qualified through qualifying tournaments throughout the season. One way or another, we will have a tournament total of emotions, as the participating teams are relatively equal.

Finally, remember that this A-Tier tournament has a $ 200,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home $100,000.

Elisa Masters Espoo – Format and Teams

As have been most, if not all, tournaments in this beginning of the CS2 era, the eight teams are divided into two groups of 4 each. The format to be used will be Two double-elimination (GSL), where the first match of the Group Stage will be best of 1 (BO1), while the rest are best of 3 (BO3).

The top two teams from each group advance directly to the tournament’s semifinals, which will be played in a Single-Elimination format and are best-of-3 (BO3). Finally, the Grand Final of the Elisa Masters Espoo is played in a best-of-five (BO5) format to define the champion.

Below, we will show you the teams participating in the tournament and their respective groups.

Group A

  • ENCE
  • Fnatic
  • GamerLegion
  • HAVU Gaming

Group B

  • Apeks
  • Complexity
  • FURIA
  • MOUZ

As we can see, both groups are even, as all the teams are currently playing at a high level. This, without a doubt, makes us confident that we will have a tournament full of emotions from start to finish.

Schedule of the first matches of the tournament.

The Elisa Masters Espoo will take place from November 29 to December 3, 2023, so it will be several days of action at the Espoo Metro Arena. Below, we bring you the schedule of the first matches of each group.

Group A

  • ENCE vs. HAVU – November 29, 2023 at 12:00 CET
  • GamerLegion vs. Fnatic – November 29, 2023 at 13:00 CET

Group B

  • MOUZ vs. Apeks – 30 November 2023 at 12:00 CET
  • Complexity Gaming vs. FURIA – November 30, 2023 at 13:00 CET

There is no doubt that this tournament has several teams that can turn out as the winners. ENCE, MOUZ, and even Fnatic may be the 3 main favorites to win the Elisa Masters Espoo. However, we can’t leave aside Complexity, who has been playing very well lately, and FURIA Esports, who, although they haven’t succeeded after their staff change in July, can wake up at any time.
