The first rumors about EA Sports FC have already surfaced, so we gatehred everything you need to know about EA’s next project after the FIFA license expires.
FIFA 23 marks the end of an era. After a partnership of almost 30 years, Electronic Arts announced a rebranding, replacing FIFA. After FIFA 23, EA will rebrand future titles to EA Sports FC. FIFA President Gianni Infantino has unveiled a new ‘e-game’ set to compete with EA Sports FC, and community members have met with wild reactions to the bizarre announcement.
A new era begins
Although EA lost the FIFA license, the company still owns an impressive collection of exclusive licenses with 19,000 players for more than 700 teams in over 100 stadiums in more than 30 leagues. EA has also assured fans that they will still be able to play all known game modes.
EA heralded the new title as “the start of an exciting new era,” so we took a head-to-head look at what fans can expect from EA Sports FC in Year One.
Infantino says FIFA will go head-to-head with EA Sports by launching rival video game (EA Sports refused cash demands to keep FIFA's name)

Changes to Career Mode
An online career mode has been at the top of FIFA players’ wish lists for years. Similar to Football Manager, this game mode allows friends to control different teams in the same save. Despite high expectations for the mode to appear either in FIFA 22 or 23, it hasn’t become a reality.
According to FUTZone, there will finally be a Career Mode in EA Sports FC. The game mode will reportedly feature no real clubs, limited server sizes, restricted transfers and cutscenes.
🚨 REAL CLUBS WILL BE INCLUDED IN ONLINE CARRER MODE. Sorry for the misunderstanding. They just are not testing them for the Pre Alpha. Big W! 🔥 #FIFA23 https://t.co/aoBuMrLfp7

Pro clubs
Pro Clubs is an iconic game mode loved by many that hasn’t seen much new in recent games. Perks and archetypes were introduced in FIFA 22, giving each virtual pro more personality and a specific playstyle.
In FIFA 23, the player development system has been improved, making it easier to earn experience points to level up the created player. The gradual changes have not impressed some community members.
