Dupreeh is CS:GO’s highest-earning player

One of the game’s legends and current champion of the Paris Major, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, has become the world’s first CS:GO player to win more than $2,000,000. Moreover, it should be noted that this amount of money concerns what he has won in a tournament; that is, the real figure that very few must know must be much higher than it.

Team Vitality’s Rifler lifted the champions trophy of the last CS:GO Major a few days ago, and, thanks to this, the player became the player who has won the most money in official CS:GO tournaments.

Dupreeh is the highest-earning CS:GO player in history

According to Esports Earnings, Team Vitality’s Danish rifler, dupreeh, became the player who has won the most money in CS:GO tournaments with an impressive $2,164,164.40.

While it is true that this figure may not be accurate, and even we doubt that it is, the way Esports Earnings makes these calculations can give us an approximation regarding what players at the top competitive level in CS:GO can earn. This website divides the prize money from the tournaments among the team members, so the real figure is known only to the team and the player himself.

Denmark tops the list

On the other hand, if we detail the image, we can see that the list is full of Danish players, and the most relevant thing is that almost all, or at least, the next five in the table, have played alongside dupreeh throughout his career. So, for example, Emil “Magisk” Reif currently plays with dupreeh in Team Vitality.

However, these players were part of the golden era of Astralis together with Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, and Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander. Recall that this Astralis team won three CS:GO Majors between the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
