Dupreeh cements his status as a legend at the CS:GO Majors; he becomes the first professional player in history to compete in every edition.

The fact that the upcoming Paris Major organized by BLAST is the last one for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive makes it very special and memorable for many people in the CS:GO community. It has meant that players have given their all to try to qualify and that it has required blood, sweat, and tears for many players, both qualified and those who have not.

However, despite the challenges of competing in a Major, one professional player has made it a routine to attend. We’re talking about Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, the only professional player to have competed in every CS:GO Major.

Dupreeh has qualified for every CS:GO Major

Dupreeh, throughout his career, has qualified for every CS:GO Majors in history. He has achieved this record at the hands of five different teams. The Danish player debuted with Copenhagen Wolves in 2013 at just 20 years old. Subsequently, Dupreeh participated in three Majors with Dignitas, another three with TSM, and now he does it with Team Vitality.

However, the most memorable moment of Dupreeh’s career has been with Astralis. Dupreeh participated in nine Majors with the Danish team, being part of the golden era in which he was part of the group of players who won for the first time in history, four Majors and three of them consecutively.

Undoubtedly, Dupreeh’s career has been impressive, and now he has added a new record of participating in all CS:GO Majors.

On the other hand, it is important to comment on Dupreeh’s qualification for the last CS:GO Major. The Danish player and his team managed to qualify without complications; the team got three wins and one loss. However, they had to fight for their place and had an extra load of other matches due to tiebreakers.

Both G2 Esports and Monte had the same record, so first, Vitality had to beat Samurai in the tiebreaker for fifth place and then the Ukrainian team for third place. In the two other matches, the French squad beat their rivals 2-0.

Dupreeh follows in the footsteps of Natus Vincere

Dupreeh represents the record that Natus Vincere achieved at the individual level last week. For its part, NAVI is the only club present at every Major in CS:GO history.

However, the team had to wait until 2021 to manage to lift the championship title. It is also worth noting that the Dane is one of the few “record men” in Counter-Strike. Beyond qualifying for all the Majors and his victories, Rasmussen is the first professional to win two million dollars in tournament prize money.
