Polish League of Legends streamer Maks Przychodzień, popularly known as Drututt, is gearing up for another edition of the Drututt Ultimate Showdown (DUS), featuring content creators from various European countries competing against each other!
This event promises to deliver the League of Legends action we crave during the esports offseason, and we’ve compiled all the essential details about the tournament.
Second DUS tournament starts on December 7!
The second installment of the DUS tournament is set to kick off on December 7, 2023. The duration of the tournament is yet to be determined, as organizer Maks “Drututt” Przychodzień is fine-tuning the brackets. The total prize pool for the tournament is an impressive $25,000.

Following the success of the first Drututt Ultimate Showdown in September, where the German representatives NNO Prime emerged victorious, the event is making a triumphant return, featuring some prominent names in the gaming community.
The tournament will adopt a double elimination format, with all matches being best of five. One notable feature is the Fearless Draft for champion selection, where typical bans are absent, and each champion can only be played once in a series. For instance, if Aatrox is chosen in the first match of a best-of-five series, no one else can select Aatrox for the remaining matches.

The roster includes Jordan “Shikari” Pointon (Top), Will “NoName” Jones (Jungle), Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont (Mid), Matthew Charles “xMatty” Coombs (ADC), and Raymond “Kasing” Tsang (Support). Caedrel, affectionately known as Rat, emphasizes the competitiveness of the tournament, expressing confidence in Team UK’s ability to secure victory.
