Drama between LOUD and NRG in LOCK//IN aftermath

The VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo 2023 has already ended, and we saw how Fnatic took the first trophy in this new VCT era. Likewise, the thrills and clashes continue, but this time outside the servers, as NRG Esports star Ardis “Ardiis” Svarenieks hinted that a Brazilian team they practiced with shared practice demos with LOUD.

Ardiis said TBK Esports revealed NRG’s strategies to LOUD before the VCT LOCK//IN

In a live stream, ardiis commented that one of the Brazilian players of the TBK Esports team, specifically Leon “ryotzz” Felipe, spoke and shared with the LOUD players after the training session before the quarterfinal match. Furthermore, the NRG star hinted that ryotzz shared videos of the strategies used by NRG in practice scrims.

In the live broadcast, Ardiss said:

“We practiced with them three times a couple of days before…and then I see this guy relaxing with LOUD after we had just practiced with them. There’s no way he didn’t show the practice demo to that team… I was in disbelief.”

To these accusations, ryotzz came out to defend himself and clarify the situation and said:

“Hey @ardiis, I don’t know exactly what you’re trying to accomplish here, not sure if you’re trying to farm some impressions by accusing or implying that i’d be unethical to the point where i’d leak the scrim vods to another team.”

“First of all, i would never do such a thing, living as a professional player is my dream and i’ve been doing it for the past 6 years, it’s what lets me provide for my family and have a decent life, i would never jeopardize it by doing such a ridiculous thing.”

Similarly, Ardiis, who did not want to generate more controversy, withdrew his accusation with a comment saying:

“I’m not claiming that they did it.”

Ryotzz points out that LOUD does not need that to win

The Brazilian player also referred to Ardiss, saying that LOUD doesn’t need that advantage to win a match. However, let’s remember that LOUD was the runner-up of the VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo 2023 and is the current champion of the VALORANT Champions 2022. In addition, ryotzz also said that ardiss should be a “good loser” and that you should be a “better professional and better person.”

On the other hand, ryotzz ended by saying that he and TBK Esports are working hard to enter the VCT system for 2024 and ask that neither his name nor his team’s name is quoted in a controversy that “may affect some people’s lives.”

This all comes after NRG fails to advance from the tournament’s quarterfinals after losing 2-3 against LOUD.
