When the novel seemed to be over, it took a completely unexpected turn. Let’s remember that HellRaisers removed Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin from their Dota 2 team’s lineup a few days ago without any explanation. The team had just qualified for the Dota 2 Lima Major, and we were all in Shock because of what had happened.

Moreover, it’s not just that HellRaisers has qualified for the Dota 2 Lima Major 2023, but that Daxak was one of the team’s key pillars in achieving it. However, the free-agent player has taken it upon himself to tell all about it in an interview.

This is not the first time that Daxak has had problems

Daxak, in a recent interview with the blog escorenews, told many details about his departure from HellRaisers. Emphasizing the difference in his Dota 2 philosophy created a toxic environment in the team.

It’s no secret to anyone that Daxak has always had a problematic character. Since his days in BetBoom Team, we could know firsthand how the player argued almost daily with his captain, Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev.

Upon joining the Ukrainian squad, the player said he knew all the pros and cons of joining this organization. As we mentioned earlier, the player pointed out that many people suggested he not sign for this team. Daxak said in the interview:

“I began by stating that I’m not actually a “flower.” It was clear from the start of BetBoom that SoNNeikO would serve as captain. Therefore, I went into great detail before joining this team about how I wanted to operate and what I should do to avoid running into the same problems. Each person agreed. I also said that I am working on some social skills challenges I have. Everyone agreed with my pros and cons once I presented them.”

It all started because of disagreements with Nofear

Problems started immediately when Daxak joined HellRaisers, as the player began to notice that Aleksandr “Nofear” Churochkin was not experienced enough to coach such a team. This was Nofear’s first foray as a Dota 2 coach after his retirement, which didn’t sit too well with Daxak.

While Daxak had every willingness to work and lead this team to victory, the way Nofear handled criticism led Daxak to explode.

According to Daxak:

“Even though he was continually sucking up, praising me, stating how good I am, and how much he learnt from me before the kick, Nofear started gaslighting me, saying how bad I am and how I’m accomplishing nothing. It ultimately came down to a choice between him or me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to continue.”

On the other hand, he also talked about his teammates, specifically Alexey “Solo” Berezin, whom he pointed out was not up to the task of being team captain and that he had to take care of the youngsters in the lineup.

Daxak’s ultimatum

After qualifying for the Major, Daxak confronted the team and exposed all their problems. However, he only found that none of his teammates supported him, so the organization decided to let him go.

However, despite everything Daxak said, the player assumed that his communication problems could have affected the team’s chemistry. From one moment to the next, he noticed that the young players felt pressured by his criticisms and comments. Finally, Daxak said:

“I was also told I was getting in everyone’s business. But I was doing it because the necessary homework wasn’t getting done.”

It was not a happy ending for this Dota 2 superstar. Although we are sure, it will soon find a new home. First, however, Daxak must improve his attitude and attitude if he wants to fit into a new lineup in the Dota 2 competitive scene.
