The rumors in the VCT competitive scene that we are in the offseason are increasing, as different teams are looking for ways to put together their lineups in the best possible way to have a VCT 2024 plagued with success.

Logically, this would happen in EMEA, as all teams want to free themselves from the yoke that Fnatic implemented in the VCT EMEA League 2023.

This time, we have Mehmet “cNed” İpek, one of NaVi’s stars in 2023, reportedly agreeing to sign with FÜT Esports for VCT 2024. Reports highlight that the Turk would arrive at his country’s organization to raise the level of the squad considerably.

Rumors claim that cNed reached a verbal agreement with FÜT Esports

According to Alejandro “Anonimotum” Gomis, the popular esports journalist specializing in LoL and VALORANT, cNed has a verbal agreement to join FÜT Esports for VCT 2024.

This is a big leap for both cNed and FÜT Esports, as, in addition to bringing in a player from their country, they also bring in an excellent talent who, at just 21 years old, was a star in NaVi.

Let’s remember that NaVi was one of the favorite squads to fight alongside Fnatic for the VCT EMEA League champions trophy. However, the team did not have the consistency needed to stay on top throughout the season.

As reported almost a month ago, NaVi signed Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks ahead of VCT 2024 to play the cNed position. As a result, it was only a matter of time before the Turk found a new home in VCT EMEA.

About cNed

The 21-year-old Turk, cNed, is a player who has a wealth of experience in the VALORANT competitive scene despite his young age.

Recall that the Turk won the VALORANT Champions 2021, playing under the Acend banner then. Then, in August 2022, cNed decided to leap by signing with NaVi, one of the best squads and organizations in the world.

At the beginning of the VCT EMEA League 2023, everything seemed to indicate that NaVi would be one of those teams that would fight for everything. However, as the rounds went by, the team’s performance began to drop, and, finally, they could not fight for the crown in their region.

It is also fair to mention that NaVi qualified for the VALORAN Champions 2023 and finished between 3rd and 4th place in the VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo 2023 at the beginning of the year.

We can only wait for FÜT Esports to confirm the signing of cNed for VCT 2024.
