Clash Royale Iberian International Dreamhack 2023 Announced

A couple of days ago, the official Clash Royale Twitter account announced this year’s Iberian International Dreamhack season. We are talking about a series of events; four competitions will be held in various locations of the Iberian Peninsula.

For this series of esports events, three regular tournaments will be held where competitors will qualify for the offline grand final. This year’s grand final will be held in Valencia, where only the best players in the region will be present.

This year will give all Clash Royale players a unique opportunity to show their full potential in esports. In addition, the players with the best skills will get a part of the important prize pool at stake. We are talking about a € 70k prize pool.

Prize pool distribution

For the regional events, the prize pool is distributed as follows:

• 1st place: € 7,500
• 2nd place: € 3.000
• 3rd place: € 1.500
• 4th place: € 1.000
• 5th – 8th place: € 500

While for the grand final, the distribution of the prize purse will be as follows:

• 1st place: € 10.000
• 2nd place: € 5.000
• 3rd place: € 3.500
• 4th place: € 2,500
• 5th – 8th place: € 1,000

Format of Clash Royale Dreamhack 2023

Players must compete in three phases for this year’s series of events.

• Online qualification phase
• Offline qualification phase
• Offline final phase

Phase 1 – Online qualifiers

For the first phase, fifteen online events involving 1,000 players are scheduled. In each event, the best 16 players will qualify for a knockout stage, and finally, the best four players will qualify for phase 2.

The first elimination phase will occur in Andorra from April 17 to 21.

Phase 1 ends after the Andorra event. Phase two will take place with a Swiss tournament. Then phase three will be the group phase to reach phase four, the finals finally.

The finals will be played in a double elimination, and 16 players will participate.

Regions where Clash Royale Dreamhack 2023 will take place

Clash Royale Dreamhack 2023 will be held in three different locations. To start the year, the event will be held in Andorra. In summer, it is the turn of Valencia; then, the event will come to Madrid. For the finals, the tournament repeats city and returns to Valencia.
