Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded official release revealed

Not long ago (less than a month), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 was released after a 15-day delay for the game developers to polish some important update details. However, Activision and Infinity Ward continue to work and have announced that the Season 2 Reloaded update is just around the corner.

This new update to our beloved Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will bring a new 6v6 map in multiplayer mode, different gameplay improvements, a new weapon, a new operator, new skins (as always), and much more.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded

According to the developer’s announcement, COD: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded will arrive on all available platforms on March 15 or 16, 2023, depending on your region.

It is completely unknown if there will be a pre-load option for the Season 2 Reloaded update, as has been the case. However, it will likely be available on all platforms before release.

On the other hand, we can expect the March 15 update for COD: Modern Warfare 2 to be approximately 20GB in size. This amount is approximate and refers to the amount of storage space in Season 1 Reloaded.

New Raid

Captain Price, Farah, and Gaz find themselves at the base of a ballistic missile while continuing the story from Atomgrad Episode 01. However, they must first scale the inner silo to identify and obtain the associated payload while facing increasing enemy resistance.

Be prepared to work as a team if you want to succeed and reap the mission’s rewards because these Operators will have to navigate this complex facility riddled with traps along the way.

New multiplayer map – Himmelmatt Expo

After the community raised its voice complaining that there were only two maps in the 6v6 mode in season 2, the developers confirmed that Himmelmatt Expo would be the new map in this game mode for season 2 Reloaded.

As we observe in the image, this lovely map is centered in a mountainous region, specifically in a resort. Hence, intense battles are expected in this new multiplayer mode scenario.

New marksman rifle – Tempus Torrent

Since the launch of Modern Warfare 2 Season 2, the developers have included four new weapons; now, the Tempus Torrent joins this extensive catalog that is slowly approaching 60 weapons.

The KV Broadside, ISO Hemlock, and Dual Kodachis can be unlocked through the Season 2 Battle Pass. On the other hand, the Crossbow is unlocked by completing the challenges of the Path of the Ronin event.

We expect the inclusion of the Tempus Torrent to be in a weapon bundle in the store and will likely be available only by purchasing it with COD Points.

TMNT crossover

On the official Twitter account of Call of Duty, the collaboration with TMNT was confirmed; for those who do not know what we mean, it is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for this season 2 Reloaded.

The collaboration will be done through a new operator called Shredder, and will arrive in the game next March 21, 2023, almost a week after the season 2 Reloaded update.
