Rumors continue to swirl around the popular North American organization FlyQuest, and, this time, we have Alan “Busio” Cwalina as the team’s new signing for the LCS 2024.

The rumors and reports are no longer surprising, as FlyQuest had a year full of ups and downs that ended in the worst possible way. As a result, the team would be determined to build a solid and fearsome squad to put a blow on the table next year and be at the top of the LCS.

On the other hand, it should be mentioned that Busio is currently part of the 100 Thieves squad, so they would have to reach an agreement for the transfer of the 18-year-old player.

Reports claim Busio to join FlyQuest by 2024

According to a report from popular esports journalist Alejandro “anonimotum” Gomis, FlyQuest has a verbal agreement to join FlyQuest for the next LCS season.

This is, without a doubt, a complete renewal in the FlyQuest squad, who are betting on a young core to try to win it all in the LCS in 2024. Everything indicates that, along with Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek, they will be the team’s spearhead in 2024. In addition, as we reported a few days ago, they could also seal the signings of Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau and Kacper “Inspired” Słoma in the coming days.

As we have mentioned, FlyQuest bets on a young core, together with two experienced ones like Bwipo and Inspired, which makes it clear that the renewal is total. Moreover, remember that FQ could not show its full potential throughout 2023 despite having exceptional players.

Terrible 2023 for FlyQuest

Expectations regarding FQ’s lineup in 2023 started very high, considering the team started the Spring Split with everything, going undefeated for almost 4 weeks. However, the team lost their first game, and their performance went into free fall to the point that they could not even compete in the final of the Split.

Finally, CF ended their spring performance with many bad games that catapulted them toward the Summer Split. In addition to not qualifying for the MSI 2023, they did not have a great performance in the summer either, as they finished 9th place in the table and did not qualify for the playoffs.

Busio and 100T

Speaking of Busio, we can’t say that 100 Thieves had a great year 2023 in the LCS, either.

Like FlyQuest, 100 Thieves’ roster was star-studded, and, of course, it was believed that they would put up a lot of fight and struggle to be at the top of the LCS. However, the team could not go on a significant winning streak and didn’t make it far in the playoffs in either Split.

Now, with the departure of Busio from 100 Thieves (if this signing by FlyQuest is confirmed), we would have a 100T completely dismantled, as all the players on the roster will go to free agency when the offseason starts.
