Vitality is in the grand final of the BLAST Premier World Final 2023, after they defeated Natus Vincere with 2-0. FaZe beat MOUZ and is also in the finals at Abu Dhabi.

Vitality completely dominated NAVI on Anubis with 13-5. Inferno was a closer affair. FaZe and Vitality will play against each other today, in the Grand Finale of the BLAST Premier World Final 2023.

NAVI vs. Vitality

First map was Anubis, and Natus Vincere looked pretty lost and couldn’t keep up with Vitality. Vitality was racking up eight offensive rounds and didn´t even break a sweat. A pistol win helped the team secured a 13-5 on Anubis,

Inferno was a bit closer, but not close enough for a team like NAVI. Natus Vincere took a 6-1 lead thanks to Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy. But Vitality came from behind and took control. Mihai “iM” Ivan and Justinas “jL” Lekavicius tried hard to get NAVI back on board, but Vitality didn`t allow them too much space and sealed the deal 13-9.

Faze Clan vs. MOUZ

FaZe has secured their spot in the Grand Finale after the match with MOUZ.

First map was Mirage, where Håvard “rain” Nygaard made a triple in the pistol round to help his team have a good start. MOUZ tried to keep up but FaZe secured their second pistol of the game.  MOUZ was still motivated though and managed an 11-8 lead.

The European lineup then came back to life and took the lead although noone expected them to. They eventually closed out a 13-11 victory to secure the map.

Next map was Overpass and FaZe got a 3-0 lead at the start. Brollan pushed MOUZ into the lead, but lost it again pretty fast. FaZe closed out a 7-5 half.

FaZe ha d a great pistol-round and got a 11-5 lead. Brollan’s 1vs2 clutch started MOUZs comeback attempt, which was stopped by karrigan. The map ended 13-11.

David “frozen” Čerňanský said after the match: “I’m feeling great, happy we did close it out in the end. We kept it calm, the mentality was really great, and Finn was on point with every call.”

MOUZ had to play with Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin as a temporary stand-in, and came close to beating FaZe, something they can be proud of. Coach Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen was disappointed though after the match and said. “We should have probably won Mirage, but this is FaZe, something just happens, and they pull through.”
