The eight teams qualified for the tournament will fight for the biggest share of the juicy $425,000 cash prize pool. In addition, the team that manages to lift the champions’ trophy will be guaranteed a spot in the BLAST Premier World Final 2023, played in Abu Dhabi from December 12-17, 2023, and has a prize pool of $1,000,000.

BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 – Details

The BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 will be played at the Entertainment & Sports Arena, Washington DC., USA, from June 7 to 11, 2023. As mentioned, the tournament has a prize pool of $425,000 and, in addition, a direct ticket to the BLAST Premier World Final 2023.

Through an official release from BLAST, the groups and schedule for the first games of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 were announced.

The group heads will be Team Vitality, the reigning winner of the BLAST.tv Paris Major and FaZe Clan, champion of the Intel Grand Slam. The following teams will join them.

Group A

  • Team Vitality
  • Imperial Esports
  • G2 Esports
  • Cloud9

Group B

  • FaZe Clan
  • Complexity Gaming
  • Heroic
  • Astralis

Undoubtedly, we will have an extremely exciting battle in both groups. In Group A, Cloud9 will try to prove that they are still at a great level of play and to overthrow Team Vitality, which is currently the #1 team in the World Ranking. On the other hand, Imperial has a lot to prove; this is their golden opportunity. While G2 Esports needs to wake up and return to the great level with which they started the season.

In Group B, everything seems to indicate that the group’s leadership will be disputed between Heroic and FaZe Clan, as they are the teams with the best current situation in the CS:GO competitive scene. However, Astralis has enough experience to make a surprise; while Complexity will try to make a surprise.

Format and match schedule

The BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 Group Stage is played in GSL format, with all matches best-of-three (BO3). In each group, we will have three teams qualified for the playoffs. The first-place team advances directly to the tournament’s semifinals, while the second and third-place teams advance to the quarterfinals.
