After the end of the Berlin Major 2023, many teams are making some plans regarding their Dota 2 lineups. However, some teams that did not participate in the Major are making some moves in their lineups that will allow them to improve for the rest of the season.

One of the moves we had in the last few hours was the departure of Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf from Nigma Galaxy’s lineup, and a few hours ago, we learned the news that he would be joining Quest Esports on loan for DPC Tour 3. There is no doubt that Nigma Galaxy is aiming to move up to DPC Division I, so they have been making some moves in their player roster.

ATF joins Quest Esports

One of the most popular players in the Dota 2 scene, ATF, found a new home hours after news broke of his departure from the Nigma Galaxy lineup. The player will join Quest Esports via loan ahead of the DPC Tour 3 Middle East. In addition, rumors point out that ATF would return to his former position, i.e., offlane.

Now, with ATF’s arrival at Quest Esports, the team’s lineup heading into the upcoming DPC Tour 3 is as follows:

  • Aybek “TA2000” Tokayev
  • Tony “No!ob” Assaf
  • ATF
  • Omar “OmaR” Moughrabi
  • Oleh “kaori” Medvedok

About Quest Esports

Quest Esports is the parent organization of what we used to know as Ooredoo Thunders, a team that had great performances in the DPC WEU Division I. This team had excellent play, especially in Tour 2, where they had impressive victories against many regional top teams. In addition, the team managed to stay in Division I after surviving many battles.

Now, Quest Esports will fully take over Ooredoo Thunders, which means that the team will now be based in Saudi Arabia instead of Qatar as it was previously. As a result, all players who impressed at Tour 2 with the Ooredoo Thunders will now play under the Quest Esports banner.

About ATF

There is no doubt that ATF had his big moment when he was playing under the OG banner, as he won several Tier 1 events throughout his career. However, after being inactive for a while in Nigma Galaxy, he will now have to tread new ground with a completely different team.

On the other hand, with his versatility and charisma, there is no doubt that he will quickly warm up to his new teammates. Moreover, with the addition of ATF, this Quest Esports lineup, which has given great surprises and good results, will probably remain at the top, giving a lot of fight.

ATF’s debut in Quest Esports will be in the DPC WEU Tour 3: Division I, which will start very soon. In this region, they will have to face teams of Tundra Esports, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid, OG, and many more.

Let’s remember that all the teams are fighting for a place in TI11, so from now on; we will see a much closer and, above all, exciting competition.
