Respawn has announced that the Apex Legends Imperial Guard event is approaching. Players can purchase new skins, participate in a new roster of game modes and get a new relic starting next Tuesday, March 7.

About the Imperial Guard event

The event features new legendary appearances and breathes new life into existing models with recolors that appear to be on top of some of the more recent ancient warrior-themed releases.

In addition to simply swapping out one shade for another on a character model, several ” recolors ” appear to have added new designs and textures.

On the other hand, Hope’s Dawn awaits players who wish to unlock all the skins. New animations and textures are also included with the Wraith relic that has been recolored.

However, among all these cosmetics, there’s a little surprise for players: thanks to a drop in the cost of crafting metals, getting all these new skins should be more affordable than ever.

In the release, Respawn states that they will continue with a cost reduction at the anniversary celebrations event. All materials needed to craft the event items will be 50% off.

As a result, legendaries that previously required 2,400 crafting metals to unlock will now only cost 1,200, which is the price of the basic legendaries in the game. In addition, players can unlock event packs for free in the event reward tracker by playing and completing daily tasks.

If players choose to do so, these modifications should make obtaining new skins and Hope’s Dawn simpler and cheaper. Additionally, players will now have access to the new permanent Mixtape playlist, where they can experience familiar LTMs like Control, Gun Run, and Team Deathmatch, giving them plenty of opportunities to get some of those tasks.

Date and schedule of the Imperial Guard event for Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment has announced that the Imperial Guard collection event will begin on March 7.

The exact time the Apex servers will go offline to prepare for the event is unknown. However, it could be around 11 a.m. Central Time, when significant updates are usually released.
