The first stage of the 2023 BLAST R6 season has ended, and now the best teams from the nine regions of the world have their sights set on the next Major, which will be the first in the BLAST R6 era.
The 16 teams that gave it their all and managed to finish at the top of their respective regions will meet in Copenhagen, Denmark, to fight for the championship trophy and, of course, a share of the juicy $750,000 prize pool.
Below, we’ll show you all the details about the first Major of the 2023 BLAST R6 season.
BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen – Details
The top-level competitive scene of Rainbow 6 makes its stop in Denmark for the first time in its history, and from April 24 to May 7, we will have the 16 best teams in the world fighting for glory. Also, in this edition, we will have a completely new format, which will be composed of three phases.

Schedule
As mentioned above, the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen will take place from April 24 to May 7, 2023, and will be played in three phases, as detailed below.
Play-In
The Play-In phase will be played from April 24 to 27 and will not be open to the public. The first matches of this phase are:
Group A (April 25)
- SANDBOX Gaming vs. FURY – 15:00 CEST
- MNM Gaming vs. Team Falcons – 15:00 CEST
Group B (April 24)
- NiP vs. Six Karma – 15:00 CEST
- Spacestation Gaming vs. ELEVATE – 15:00 CEST
Group C (April 24)
- NORTHEPTION vs. REVEN ECLUB – 13:00 CEST
- Soniqs vs. LAVEGA Esports – 14:00 CEST
Group D (April 25)
- W7M Esports vs. Team Bliss – 13:00 CEST
- Wolves Esports vs. Varrel – 14:00 CEST
The top eight teams from the Play-In phase will qualify for the playoffs, joining the following teams already qualified for this stage.

The playoffs will be played from April 29 to May 3, 2023, and, as in the first stage of the tournament (Play-IN), the top eight teams will advance to the third stage. Finally, the finals will be played from May 5 to 7, 2023, and open to the public at the Forum Copenhagen.
