Activision unveils MW2 Season 4 details

With only a week before the arrival of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 4, Activision has revealed all the details regarding this update. In addition to different changes in weapons and gameplay, we do not doubt that you will receive much content in season 4, so it will likely be the game’s biggest update.

There is no doubt that Activision has between the eyebrows the fact of recovering the popularity they have lost in recent months. The game is not at its best, and with the arrival of a lot of content in Season 4, the developers want many players to return to the game.

Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 Season 4 – Details

Activision announced all the details regarding season 4 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 a few hours ago. The first thing that catches the eye is undoubtedly the seven new maps that will come to the game in different modes. In addition, we will also have four new weapons and the new map of Warzone 2, Vondel, which will be available from the launch of the fourth season of the game next June 14, 2023.

Undoubtedly, one of the most attention-grabbing maps added to the game (in multiplayer mode) is Showdown, a classic map from CoD 2007. However, this will not be a new scenario for all who play Warzone 2, as it is located in Ahkdar Village in Al Mazrah.

Another map that catches the eye is Kunstenaar District, which will work in 6v6 mode and is based on one of the POIs from Warzone 2’s new Resurgence and DMZ map, Vondel. According to Activision, this site is inspired by a European city and features several townhouses, a square, fashionable stores, and a water canal to the west.

As the announcement says, the other maps will be available in different game modes in Modern Warfare 2’s Multiplayer mode. In addition, mid-season will also include Vondel Waterfront, another of the maps to be played in 6v6 mode.

Now, as we mentioned, this new season will also bring with it four new weapons:

• Tonfa – Melee
• Shotgun – Launches in the middle of season 4

The Tempus Razorback and ISO 45 will be unlockable through the Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 Battle Pass and Warzone 2. However, the Tonfa will only be unlockable in a new event coming in Season 4 called Assault on Vondel. On the other hand, it is also worth mentioning the introduction of five new operators:

On top of all this, a new season of Ranked mode in both MW2 and Warzone 2 and a new Raid episode are also coming. However, this new episode will arrive mid-season.
