The table is set for the LCS Summer Split 2023 Grand Final, and after five excellent games, NRG managed to beat Team Liquid to become the second finalist of the Split.

NRG joins Cloud9 as the top two teams of the Summer Split, and now, we will see if any LCS team can finally overcome and end Cloud9’s dominance. However, it is worth noting that NRG has achieved an excellent victory in the Lower Bracket final, as everything pointed to Liquid being the winner.

Although NRG had many mistakes throughout the series, there is no doubt that they managed to recover in the best possible way to take an excellent 3-2 victory. Now, everything is ready for the showdown between NRG and Cloud9 to be played in the next few hours, and, of course, we expect a high-caliber match with two inspiring opponents.

NRG vs. Team Liquid – Game Recap

There is no doubt that NRG could come from behind to take the victory in this series. First, it’s worth mentioning that champions Neeko and Kai’Sa took it upon themselves to dominate the Summoner’s Rift in this series.

NRG started this BO5 very well by winning the first match in 30:42 minutes, which gave us a taste of what would happen in the rest of the series. However, Team Liquid woke up thanks to young Eain “APA” Stearns, who managed to lead his team to victory in 34:46 min. to even the series 1-1.

In the third match, things changed radically, as NRG deployed a spectacular offensive to go ahead in the series 2-1 thanks to the victory in 23:20 min. However, this only made the beast in Team Liquid wake up, and, despite a solid composition by NRG, they were crushed by Liquid in 18:57 min. This match became the second fastest in LCS history.

In the end, NRG proved that their level of play and synergy within Summoner’s Rift is beyond anything, as, thanks to an aggressive game full of dives and ganks, they managed to lead the team to victory.

NRG vs. Cloud9 – Grand Final

As we mentioned, NRG qualified for the LCS Summer Split 2023 Grand Final and will do so by facing Cloud9, the best team during the season.

This match will be played at the Newark Prudential Center, New Jersey, in the next few hours. Although both teams have already qualified for Worlds 2023, there is no doubt that they will give their all in this Grand Final match to become champions of the Summer Split 2023 and win $100,000 in cash prizes.
