FaZe Clan, one of history’s most popular and successful esports organizations, has announced its first female esports lineup for VALORANT.

Time marches on, and we continue to observe how the female esports scene grows exponentially. For this reason, many organizations, brands, or teams are interested in venturing into this world that the industry has not exploited throughout history.

We have seen how important organizations such as NaVi, FURIA, G2 Esports, NiP, Guild Esports, MIBR, and many more have decided to take the step with a female lineup in their different esports divisions.

FaZe announces its female lineup for VALORANT

As mentioned, the popular organization, FaZe Clan, has decided to foray into the world of female esports by signing a lineup that will now be called FaZe VALORANT. Likewise, This VALORANT team will compete in the North American VCT Game Changers circuit.

FaZe VALORANT’s lineup is as follows:

  • Jennifer “refinnej” Le
  • Emma “emy” Choe
  • Vannesa “panini” Emory
  • Madison “maddiesuun” Mann
  • Diane “di^” Tran

This lineup will first appear at a top-level competitive event in the upcoming VCT Game Changers 2023 season.

About VCT Game Changers

Riot Games created this circuit under the VALORANT Champions Tour banner to complement the men’s VCT season to create opportunities for women and marginalized genders within the VALORANT professional scene.

FaZe Clan and other significant gaming companies join the series at the beginning of the 2023 season.

Erik Anderson, Director of Esports at FaZe Clan, said:

Reunion of old acquaintances

Before joining this FaZe Clan lineup, some of these girls played together on various professional teams over the past few years. Therefore, the new team will not start from scratch, as the players know each other very well.

Refinnej, panini, and maddiesuun were part of Complexity GX3 in the past. On the other hand, refinnej, mmy, and di^ have high experience in the professional scene, as they were part of the women’s CS:GO team, CLG Red. Furthermore, these girls have competed together in recent times under the name “Hamboigas,” where they played in the Champions Tour Game Changers Series III: North America.

This announcement increases FaZe Clan’s professional esports roster to 14 teams holding 37 world championships.

Vannesa “panini” Emory said:

“I think the scene will be about ten times more competitive now. So I think going into this first GC event, we will have to watch out for many teams, and there will be a lot of good competition out there.”
