After months of speculation, the North American organization FaZe Clan has officially entered the Apex Legends competitive arena.

For quite some time, rumors have been circulating that FaZe Clan might enter the Apex Legends professional scene. The North American organization has finally made a public announcement confirming its participation in Apex Legends esports. The star-studded roster will feature Eric “Snip3down” Wrona, who recently announced his retirement from competitive Halo and hinted at a comeback to the battle royale esports. The second player on FaZe’s illustrious roster will be SlurpeeG, one of the top controller fraggers in North America who has previously played in the Apex Legends Global Series Pro League alongside SXG and G-Force.

Although the third and final member of the FaZe roster has not yet been made public, Mac ‘Albralelie’ Beckwith is the most likely candidate for the position. Recently, the 22-year-old player was spotted competing alongside SlurpeeG and Snip3down in Apex tournaments and scrims. Albralelie’s future with TSM is still up in the air, so it’s unknown whether he will simply stick around with his prior squads or whether FaZe is holding out to see how certain contract discussions or requirements turn out before introducing him. At this point, FaZe does not seem likely to use a different third player to compete in ALGS and losing an effective player like Albralelie would clearly jeopardize their Pro League hopes.

FaZe Apex to debut at Pro League with high expectations

FaZe Apex is set to be one of the top teams to watch in the North American region in the upcoming Pro League split, with all three members having substantial competitive experience. Albralelie is regarded as one of North America’s top all-around players, while Snip3down and SlurpeeG have reputations as two of the game’s most fearsome controller fraggers. In addition to being one of the greatest Halo players of all time, Snip3down was a member of TSM’s Apex Legends team, which was widely regarded as the best in the world during the first two years of the game’s debut.

Snip3down had previously expressed a desire to play competitive Apex Legends again, and even during his time with Halo Infinite, he participated in a number of casual tournaments. As professionals, Snip3down and Albralelie can provide guidance and mentorship to SlurpeeG during the upcoming Apex Legends Pro League split. According to reports, Gerrit “ChronoCreative” Acheson, who has been associated with Apex for some time, will also join FaZe as an analyst.
