100 Thieves content creator Kyedae has been diagnosed with leukemia

Internet users were shocked to learn that Twitch streamer Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko had been diagnosed with cancer. Then, on March 3, 2023, in a sad Twitter update, she revealed that she had acute myeloid leukemia and would soon begin treatment.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a form of malignant blood and bone marrow neoplasm. It occurs when aberrant white blood cells increase rapidly and do not function as they should, causing various problems.

Kyedae informs her fans of her diagnosis

“Hi everyone; I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer). I’ll be starting up treatment very soon. With that being said I’m not too sure how my body will react to the treatment so I do apologize in advance if my stream schedule isn’t consistent! Stay safe”
