Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, also known as “Headshot Machine” has today confirmed the rumors and joined the French VALORANT team Karmine Corp alongside his brother Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom. The Belgian duo left Team Liquid to play with the European organization in VCT 2023 together with the French trio Alexandre “xms” Forté, Ryad “Shin” Ensaad and Alexis “Newzera” Humbert.

The new team is coached by French Head Coach Arthur “pm” Guillermet and his French assistant Ahmed “ZE1SH” El Sheikh. For the first time in his esports career, ScreaM will take on the role of IGL.

Back in French team

ScreaM was one of the initial members of the Team Liquid VALORANT roster while Nivera joined his brother last September. Both brothers had promising careers in CS:GO. Often referred to as a one-tap god, ScreaM easily made it to the top in Valorant thanks to his sick aim.

The move to Karmine Corp also means ScreaM is moving back to a French-speaking team after spending over two years with Team Liquid. The Belgian was already quite successful in CS:GO before he switched to VALORANT, having previously played for French teams such as VeryGames, Titan and G2. Later, ScreaM started playing for international teams in Valve’s FPS and continued to do so in VALORANT by switching to Team Liquid.

ScreaM said on Twitter:

“Back in France, and only one goal, we win or we sink TOGETHER.”

Joining him in this new chapter of his career is his brother Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom, with whom he previously played on Liquid. ScreaM’s move to Karmine Corp also means a reunion with xms, whom he played with back in the CS:GO days at Envy.

Brothers ScreaM and Nivera

The two brothers make a good duo. ScreaM on Jett has consistently been at the top of the scoreboard for ACS. At the Masters Reykjavik 2022, he was eight points clear of the next player in ACS with an impressive 260.5 ACS. Even when Liquid was seeing mediocre results and barely qualifying, Team Liquid still found ScreaM to be one of the most efficient damage dealers in the game. Nivera played a more mental, defensive game in the role of controller. Both players have been key to Liquid’s success and will leave a huge gap on the roster going forward.

VCT 2023

Karmine Corp is among the 30 organizations that were selected to play in VALORANT’s franchised leagues next year. The French org will compete against Fnatic, Team Liquid, Vitality, Heretics, Natus Vincere, KOI, BBL, FUT Esports, and Giants in the EMEA league.

This is Karmine Corp’s VALORANT roster:

  • Alexandre “xms” Forte
  • Ryad “Shin” Ensaad
  • Alexis “Newzera” Humbert
  • Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom
  • Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom
