Things are going really well for the FaZe Clan at the moment. They have defeated their opponent ENCE 3:1 in the final of the ESL Pro League. But even before that, things were going great for the team, as they recently won the IEM Katowice and grabbed their first trophy of the year. Now they have directly secured the second one. Although FaZe won, ENCE also put up an impressive performance and didn’t exactly make it easy for the FaZe clan.

FaZe takes the victory

The match started on Vertigo, a map that was not expected. FaZe directly led the series with 16:11 points, which was mainly due to the closed gameplay. Special mention should be made of FaZe’s Håvard “rain” Nygaard, who had a K/D ratio of 27/17 and stood out from the crowd. ENCE only really warmed up on the second map, Overpass.

FaZe countered, however, and the series went into overtime. Hades helped his team ENCE to a 19-17 win on Overpass, which evened the series. The third map was Mirage and Hades and his team ended the first half with a close 7:8 score on the Terrorists’ side.

Unfortunately, they could only get two rounds in the second half before FaZe finished the map and regained the lead in the series. Finally, the last map was Dust2 and there it went similar to Mirage. ENCE was able to keep up in the first half, but they ran out of power a bit after halftime and FaZe took advantage of this opportunity to secure the EPL trophy.

Spinx named MVP by ENCE

With this, FaZe’s talented lineup has won another major CS:GO tournament and solidified its reputation. At the same time, the international team is one step closer to winning the Intel Grand Slam Season Four. The team is only two S-Tier events organized by ESL away from securing the $1,000,000.

FaZe will also participate in the BLAST Premier World Final 2022. However, ENCE also played very well and is a name to be reckoned with in the future. Although it wasn’t enough to win, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi was named ESL Pro League Season 15 MVP, which is also a great honor. Both ENCE and FaZe will be taking a little break for the time being, as they will both soon be competing in RMR events for the PGL Antwerp Major, which kicks off in Europe on April 17.
