9Pandas advance to the PARI, Please playoffs

The LAN PARI Please 2023 tournament continues its thrills, and we already know the first team to qualify for the playoffs, 9Pandas.

As expected, the Russian squad overcame the Brazilian MIBR to seal their direct ticket to the tournament playoffs. On the other hand, MIBR will have to wait for the winner of the Elimination Match between Movistar Riders and BetBoom Team to play for the other place in the next phase.

There is no doubt that, after beating the BetBoom Team on the first day of Group A, everything pointed to the fact that 9Pandas had arrived with tremendous confidence in this tournament, and they have proved it. MIBR had no chance to win this series, as the Russians were dominant.

Let’s see what happened in the Group A Winners Match between MIBR and 9Pandas at PARI Please 2023.

9Pandas applies a clean sweep against MIBR and qualifies for the playoffs

After the win to start Group A against BetBoom Team, we all focused on 9Pandas, as it’s no secret that BetBoom has a very talented roster of players. However, 9Pandas was able to bring out their full potential and came away with an excellent 2-0 victory.

In this Winners Match against MIBR, we all thought the Brazilian squad would put up much more of a fight and at least play all 3 maps. However, 9Pandas thought the opposite, as they applied a clean sweep to seal their ticket to the tournament playoffs.

The series between MIBR and 9Pandas was played at Ancient and Anubis.

Ancient

It all started at Ancient, MIBR’s map pick, where the Russian squad performed phenomenally from start to finish and managed to pull ahead in the series with an excellent 13-5 victory.

In the first half, MIBR showed clear intentions to fight to the end in their map pick. However, 9Pandas, with Aleksandr “glowiing” Matsievich in incredible form, managed to take the win with a close score of 7-5.

Then, at the change of sides, the Brazilian defense completely fell apart, as they could not prevent any of 9Pandas’ onslaught and ended up losing the first 6 rounds. As a result, 9Pandas took the 13-5 victory and thus started this Group A Winners Match on the right foot.

Anubis

Then, the teams moved to Anubis, the 9Pandas map pick, where we again enjoyed an intense match in the first half but decanted in favor of the Russian squad in the second.

It all started with a back-and-forth match where both teams completely shared the rounds and ended with an even score of 6-6. However, at the change of sides, things changed completely, as the 9Pandas offense once again annihilated the Brazilian defense to win 7 of 8 rounds and thus take the 13-7 victory.
