First, we must remember that the Collegiate Rocket League 2023 is already underway. Unlike other esports titles, it does not follow a calendar from January to December. Instead, it follows the university calendar.

With the CRL 2023 Spring National Championship just three months away, teams are already preparing to get the victories they want. Needless to say, all teams aim to qualify for the CRL World Championship, so starting on the right foot might be crucial.

CRL 2023 Conferences

As has been customary in all previous Collegiate Rocket League seasons, the new year kicks off with the Collegiate Rocket League 2023 conferences in the North American region. Starting at the end of January and running until the start of March, the teams will compete for spots at the Spring National Championship.

The qualifying phase is still underway, so if you want to tune into the matches, it’s a perfect time.

University Rocketeers 2023

The University Rocketeers is the European version of the 2023 Collegiate Rocket League. This tournament, which will take place from February 22 to April 13, has the participation of the best university Collegiate Rocket League teams in Europe. So far, 18 out of 40 teams have already been confirmed to participate in the event.

CLR World Championship 2023

There is no doubt that this season-concluding event is the most attractive tournament of the Collegiate Rocket League 2023, which will see Europe and North America go head-to-head in a battle for a $75,000 prize pool along with the prestigious title.

Last season, the team that lifted the champions trophy was Northwood University Blue — the team of the private Northwood University located in Midland, Michigan. This team has one of the most impressive records of all Collegiate Rocket League teams, so the team that will want to take them down from the throne will have to put in a lot of effort and goals.

It is still a speculation, but the World Championship will likely be held in the summer of 2023.
