The Group Stage of the Brazy Party has ended, and after a Sunday full of action and excitement, we have that 9INE, Astralis, OG, and paiN managed to get the last four slots for the Brazy Party playoffs.
So far, the only surprise we have had in the tournament is the elimination of ENCE, a team profiled as favorites to dispute the championship trophy. However, with only eight teams still alive and the quarterfinals underway, it is only a matter of time before we know the tournament champion.
Let’s see what happened in the Decider Matches played last Sunday, April 30.

Astralis crush ENCE and qualify for playoffs
Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz and Alexander “Altekz” Givskov were in charge of denying Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia and ENCE their qualification to the playoffs of the tournament. However, Astralis was much more than ENCE, and they got a comfortable 2-0 victory.
It all started on Overpass, Astralis’ map pick, where we saw a spectacular display of skill from one of the best players in the game’s history, dev1ce. The Danish legend finished with 91.3 ADR and a 1.59 Rating to lead his team to a comfortable 16-6 victory. After a convincing 12-3 T-side, Astralis won the remaining three rounds in the side swap to pull ahead in the series.

We moved to Mirage, ENCE’s map pick, to enjoy a different match. The Finnish team started strong on the T-side and took a tight T-side win with a score of 8-7. However, Altekz had an ace up his sleeve, which he brought out in the second half, as he led Astralis to win nine rounds to secure the 16-14 victory.
We're continuing our journey in Brazy Party 2023!😍
The playoffs awaits as we took down @ENCE 2-0 in a do-or-die match. A significant improvement from yesterday!

9INE apply reverse sweep and leave Sprout in the dust
The Polish team, 9INE, continues to show great play and, this time, applied an excellent reverse sweep to take the win over Sprout by 1-2.
It all started with Sprout’s map pick, Ancient, where they showed why this was their map selection to start the series. The first half started with an even score of 8-7 in favor of 9INE, with Krzysiek “Goofy” Gorski repelling each of Sprout’s attacks. However, at the change of sides, Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss dressed as a hero to deny each Poles’ offenses and lead 9INE to a 16-13 victory.

On the second map, Vertigo, everything changed dramatically. The Poles poured on the attack and cruised to a crushing 13-2 partial first-half victory. Sprout could not recover from this blow, and although they managed to win four rounds on the T-side, they could do no more and ended up falling by 6-16. Moreover, this becomes the Polish team’s 15th consecutive win in Vertigo.

Finally, everything was decided in Anubis, where 9INE continued to display a great level of play, especially by the hand of Goofy, who indisputably was the series MVP. With a K/D of +17, the Pole led his team to a comfortable 16-7 victory, thus sealing their qualification to the playoffs.
And with that we're out of the tournament. It was a good run with some good highlights.

Eternal Fire ran out of gas and couldn’t beat OG
After winning the first map outright, the Eternal Fire Turks could not replicate their success on maps two and three and ended up suffering a reverse sweep by OG to be eliminated from the tournament.
Anubis, EF’s map pick, was a cakewalk for the Turks, as they managed to unleash their full potential in the hands of Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş and Buğra “Calyx” Arkın. Thanks to the actions of these two players, Eternal Fire took the victory with a comfortable score of 16-7.
They stronk.

Now, with the return of Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar to the OG lineup for the remainder of the series, the boys regained confidence and began to show it in their map pick, Mirage. While Eternal Fire started winning the map with a resounding 10-5 CT side, OG woke up to the change of sides and struck back impressively to take the 16-12 win. Abdul “degster” Gasanov (112.5 ADR and 1.90 Rating) made this comeback.

Finally, in Overpass, OG completed the reverse sweep thanks to Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen and Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, who finished with 1.63 and 1.53 Ratings, respectively, to lead OG to a 16-9 victory.
Playoffs baby 😎

paiN destroy 00 Nation and advance to the playoffs
The Brazilian duel this time fell on the side of paiN Gaming, who managed to annihilate Marcelo “coldzera” David and his 00 Nation, who undoubtedly could do nothing with the spectacular level of play demonstrated by Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato.
Anubis was the stage that saw paiN start the series with a 16-12 victory. The first half was a real spectacle provided by NEKIZ, who, with 114.9 ADR and a 1.61 Rating, led his team to a 10-5 partial victory. 00 Nation tried to come back and even got to 11-13 on the scoreboard. However, the efforts were not enough, and paiN took the victory.

In the second map, Mirage, we saw a replica of Anubis. On the CT side this time, paiN Gaming started with an excellent partial victory by 10-5. But, at the change of sides, Bruno “latto” Rebelatto woke up 00 Nation, and they began to win round after round until they were 14-12 on the scoreboard. But, as in the first map, paiN got the missing round and took the victory by 16-13.
