The 2024 edition of the Eurocup will take place in Germany, and as usual in major football tournaments, it will also have a virtual alternative that will be played on EA FC 24, allowing the best players from each country to participate. The eSelección Española has shared through its social media the process of qualifying for the tournament. This time there will be no direct selection, but everything will be decided through a qualifying process that will be identical for 21 countries.

Any player over 18 years old and with a passport from the country in question can participate. The process begins with a first phase of national qualifiers that will vary depending on the number of registered players. If there are fewer than 64, it will be a simple elimination bracket, while if there are more, there will be a ladder. This means that players will have 4 hours to play a minimum of 6 matches.

After that, the playoffs will begin. Not only the best of the qualifiers will participate, but the rules stipulate that nominated national players can also be included. This second phase will be played with home and away matches and with a double elimination bracket. It will be crucial because the Spanish representative will be selected from there.

The winner of the Spanish qualifier will represent Spain in the UEFA eEURO 2024: UEFA’s Elite National Football Esports Championship, the official name of the tournament. There, they will face representatives from 52 other countries affiliated with UEFA.
