T1 vs ZETA DIVISION
T1 and ZETA engaged in a closely contested encounter, with T1 emerging victorious 2-1 to claim the lower bracket final spot against Gen.G. ZETA’s map pick, Haven, showcased a similar pattern to the previous map as they secured their first round in the 9th round and concluded the first half 8-4 in their favor. T1 made a comeback in the second half, winning four rounds and reaching map point early, but ZETA put up a resilient fight, forcing T1 to secure the map after six additional rounds. ZETA ultimately won Haven with a 13-10 score.
T1’s selection of Bind as the second map came as no surprise, given their recent innovations and strategies on that map. T1 opted for an unconventional composition. ZETA’s aggression paid off as they attacked first and finished the first half ended at a 7-5 score. For the first few rounds in the second half, it was clearly looking like T1 Gekko’s choice was not a wise decision. The game ultimately entered overtime where ZETA clinched Bind with a 14-12 score to level the overall score 1-1.
In the decisive map, Fracture, both teams displayed signs of fatigue after two intense matches. T1, having learned from their previous map, opted for a more traditional composition with an additional duelist. The first half concluded with ZETA holding a slight 7-5 advantage. However, T1 staged a remarkable comeback in the second half, securing the map 13-10 and ultimately clinching the match 2-1, showcasing their resilience and adaptability.
