The South Korean gamer is one of the highest-paid sportsmen in esports. According to some reports from Faker, in 2022, he earned more than $5.8 million, equivalent to about 7.1 billion won. In addition, it was disclosed that most of his earnings go to make investments.

Joe Marsh, who is the CEO of T1, during an interview on Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng’s program, stated that Faker could already retire. The player’s investment income is enough to live a quiet life without financial worries.
