Surprising win for the EYEBALLERS against GODSENT
EYEBALLERS emerged as the champions of the Svenska Cupen 2023 after defeating GODSENT 2-0 in the grand final held at Space Arena in Stockholm. The tournament saw the participation of six teams, including Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were knocked out in the semi-finals. EYEBALLERS and GODSENT, ranked No. 48 and No. 69 in the world respectively, faced each other in the final.

EYEBALLERS had previously lost to GODSENT in an online match a month earlier, but this time around, they produced a much-improved display. They secured victories on Ancient (13-7) and Mirage (13-11) to clinch the title. Jesper “JW” Wecksell, who posted a series-high 1.60 rating, led EYEBALLERS to victory and took a jab at GODSENT on X/Twitter after the match.

Ninjas in Pyjamas, featuring academy player Max “maxster” Jansson and free agent Leo “Silence” Ingvarsson, secured the third-place position after defeating Alliance 2-1 in the third-place decider.
