As we note, this new Seattle Surge squad has talent, experience, and winning blood. We have Cuyler “Huke” Garland, Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal, and Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson, who all have the label of being former world champions. In addition, these three experienced players will bring all their knowledge to 23-year-old Belgian Jordan “Abuzah” Francois.
This team is made to win, that’s for sure. However, the Surge will want to overcome their disappointing performance last season by far.
The new Seattle Surge lineup completely differs from the one they had in 2023. In addition, it is also fair to mention that the Surge had a lot of ups and downs last year, so they needed a clean slate heading into next season. As a result, the departures of Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi, Daunte “Bb” Gray, and Amer “Pred” Zulbeari were only a matter of time.
About the new Surge signings
We started with Arcitys, who played for FaZe Clan and LA Guerrillas before joining Seattle Surge. With this new squad teaming up with iLLeY and Huke, the three are looking to make a quality leap to get to their best form and take the Surge to the top.
Another of Seattle’s signings is Raymond “Rambo” Lussier, who comes from being the General Manager of OpTic Texas and returns to his Head Coaching duties this season with the Surge.
Finally, the least known on this list is undoubtedly Abuzah, who showed impressive quality in the EU Challengers, playing under the Aw0babobs banner. Abuzah and his Challengers team took the championship trophy at the Toronto Open and then made it into the TOP 6 of the Challengers Championship 2023.
Finally, with Seattle revealing their roster for the upcoming season, we only have three teams that have yet to make any announcements regarding their signings:
- LA Guerrillas
- Las Vegas Legion
- Carolina Royal Ravens
