The VCT offseason is in full swing, and many teams are knocking on the doors of different players to try to strengthen their squads for next season. In the last few hours, VALORANT Champions 2022 champion player with LOUD, Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro, confirmed that there had been some contacts for his possible signing with NRG.

Undoubtedly, this move would completely affect LOUD’s level of play, as the Brazilian squad seemed to be one of the most solid in the entire VCT Americas and the world. However, the failure to win any international trophies this season may cause the players to consider looking for a new home for next season.

Saadhak confirms that there are contacts with NRG

A few days ago, some screenshots of a Stream of Chet “Chet” Singh, the Head Coach of NRG, surfaced, showing a conversation between LOUD’s IGL, Saadhak, and the coach. As a result, many fans of LOUD, NRG, and the player himself began to ask many questions on social networks and Saadhak’s streams. That is why the Brazilian decided to come clean and explain everything.

Although Saadhak speaks entirely in Portuguese in the clip, the translation indicates that the player confirms that he has spoken to Chet several times and did it “as a formality.”. In addition, he also assured his fans that these types of conversations in the esports scene are similar to the business world. However, LOUD’s IGL ended with some words of reassurance to his fans, as, according to the player, “nothing has been agreed yet.”

Similarly, in the same stream but a little later, Saadhak also talked about leaving the flag of Brazil very high if he decides to join another team in the Americas or any region of the world. Finally, Saadhak said he has been working with Felipe “Less” Basso, LOUD’s star rookie, at IGL and believes he “has done a good job” in this regard.

Several teams interested in Saadhak

While NRG is the team that Saadhak has confirmed he has had some contact with, it is not the only one following the Brazilian’s footsteps. According to Noyn, Saadhak has other NA teams interested in signing him.

There is no doubt that Saadhak can be the one to either unite or destroy the LOUD template for VCT 2024. Most likely, if the IGL decides to move on, almost every player in the team could do the same, seeking more lucrative and important contracts in NA. Let’s remember that, before the start of VCT 2023, Bryan “pANcada” Luna and Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi decided to sign with Sentinels despite coming from winning the VCT Champions 2022 with LOUD.

Finally, this would be the first “stone” in reconstructing NRG’s lineup for VCT 2024. Recall that a few days ago, Pujan “FNS” Mehta and Sam “s0m” Oh announced that they are leaving the lineup, while Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks could be the third player to leave.
