The Swedish organization GODSENT has again renewed its CS2 lineup by signing Kalle “Ro1f” Johansson and Sean “eraa” Knutsson. This move comes after the departure of Johan “hype” Engblom and Erik “ztr” Gustafsson was announced a few days ago.

GODSENT is trying to assemble a solid squad at the beginning of the CS2 era, as that is the only way to succeed in the Tier 2 and 3 tournaments they will be participating in. In addition, this can also help them to have positive results in their attempt to return to the top competitive level.

GODSENT announces the signing of Ro1f and eraa

Through its Twitter/X account, GODSENT announced the signings of Ro1l and eraa to complete a new renewal in its CS2 lineup.

Ro1f comes from playing only for academy teams in his short pro career. As a result, this will be the 19-year-old Swede’s first foray into a top-level organization. On the other hand, Eraa becomes the team’s fifth player, who comes from playing alongside Ro1f in Young Ninjas and, previously, was part of GamerLegion.

It is also fair to mention that the new GODSENT signings have already played with the team in the European Pro League, where they won an excellent 2-0 victory.

Return of GODSENT

The popular Swedish organization GODSENT returned to their home country at the beginning of 2023 by signing an all-Swedish squad, where Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez stood out. Then, the team had some outstanding, but not extraordinary, results, but everything changed when they had to release Joel “joel” Holmlund, who was involved in match-fixing allegations.

Then, in August 2023, the organization announced the addition of Johan “Hype” Engblom, Jonatan “bobeksde” Persson, and Maikil “Golden” Selim. However, Hype could not play a single game with the team, as the organization decided to send him to the bench along with Erik “ztr” Gustafsson on October 19.

For now, it only remains to wait whether this team will be able to perform optimally in the Tier 2 and 3 tournaments they play and, above all, how their run in the European RMR of the first Major in the CS2 era will look like. However, we all hope to see GODSENT again as protagonists in CS2, as this would remind us of that squad that once consisted of Swedish Counter-Strike legends.
