Riot Games rewards via Xbox Game Pass

Riot Games and the famous company Microsoft announced before the Game Awards that all players who are members of Xbox Game Pass would be able to access new and exclusive rewards in all Riot games as long as they link their account with their Xbox profile.

Riot and Microsoft: Union of Titans

With your Xbox Game Pass membership, you will unlock access to League of Legends, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra to receive exclusive benefits, premium rewards, and other limited-time in-game rewards starting December 12.

It is worth mentioning that since December 8, you can link your Riot Games account with your Xbox profile.

Limited-time rewards

If you link your Riot account with your Xbox profile, you will be able to access some rewards for a limited time (until January 1, 2023), which are:

• VALORANT: Pocket Buddy Sage
• League of Legends: Master Craftsman Chest and key
• Teamfight Tactics: Mini Legends Rare Egg
• Wild Rift: Random Gesture Chest
• Legends of Runeterra: Prism Chest

Link your Riot account on Xbox

Linking your Riot account with your Xbox profile is very simple. First, you must have the Xbox application installed on your PC; then, you must follow a series of elementary steps that will allow you to link both accounts or create a new account if you don’t have one.

Also, remember that there is a surprise if you link your account before January 1, 2023, with the additional bonuses mentioned in the previous point.

Now, suppose your Xbox profile has an active Game Pass subscription. In that case, you will receive an in-game notification the next time you log into your favorite Riot video game, which will subsequently inform you when your earned benefits are unlocked. Don’t be alarmed, as this process can sometimes take up to 24 hours.

Once you have all the benefits, you will see all the unlocked content in your collections within the respective Riot games with the “Rewards Program” indicator. All this while your Xbox Game Pass subscription remains active and, of course, is linked.

Benefits in each game

Valorant

All agents available in Valorant will be unlocked. You will also receive immediate access to new agents released by Riot from day one and a 20% increase in Battle Pass, Active Agent Contract, and Event Pass progress.

League of Legends

In LoL, it is very similar to Valorant, as you will unlock all the champions in the game, you will be able to access future champions as soon as they are released, and you will get a 20% bonus on the experience earned in the Battle Pass.

Teamfight Tactics

Unlock 1-star Mini Legends, four arena skins until April 2023, and an arena skin that will rotate every month.

Wild Rift

The benefits of Wild Rift will be the same as in League of Legends and Valorant. In addition, all champions in the game will be unlocked, you will receive a 20% XP boost in the Battle Pass, and you will have early access to the release of new champions.

Wild Rift benefits will be available at the end of January 2023.

Legends of Runeterra

Finally, in Legends of Runeterra, you will have access to all the cards of the Foundations Set, and if you join before January 1, 2023, you will receive a Prismatic chest.
