Resurgence as a new map in Warzone 2?

There’s a new rumor that points to a new map for Call of Duty: Warzone 2! Meanwhile, there is also some new information about the Resurgence Map. 

Warzone 2 currently only has one map — Al Mazrah. And while the map is massive, players are still a bit disappointed with the lack of options and are calling for more. indeed, with just one map, Warzone 2 might feel a little small and empty, but that could change soon. A report from Insider Gaming suggests there will be a new map in Season 2.

New Warzone 2 map?

According to Insider Gaming, the map “Resurgence” could be released along with Season 2. Resurgence is a minor battle royale mode that automatically revives players when they are eliminated. This makes the game much faster and more spontaneous and has been well-received by the community because you spend a lot more time playing the game and a lot less time being dead watching your buddies try to buy you back.

Players love that the Gulag gives players a second chance, but they seem to enjoy Resurgence even more because it combines the best of Warzone and multiplayer into a single mode. There have been rumors that this mode will make a comeback in Warzone 2 and it seems that multiple sources are convinced that it will be coming alongside a new map.

Details are still unclear

At the moment, there is little information about the new map or the contents of the new season. It’s unclear exactly what the theme or layout will be, so Warzone players will have to wait and see for now.

That said, there is some information about the map. The new map, which has yet to be named, was leaked on the Warzone subreddit and appears to support 50-player lobbies, 24v24 Ground War, and DMZ. The map is said to have 10 named locations and appears to be somewhere between Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep in size and shape. However, nothing more is known.

When is the second season for Warzone 2 coming?

The developers have not yet announced an official date for the second season. However, we do know that the Season 1 Battle Pass will end on February 1, 2023. That means the next season will most likely come out shortly after. However, more information should be revealed this month, so be sure to follow Fragster if you don’t want to miss anything.
