Pokemon Go Fest 2023 is coming to London, New York, and Osaka

Niantic has released all information about the 2022 Pokemon Go Fest, which will take place this summer in three cities across the globe.

For the first time in three years, Pokémon Go Fest made a comeback in 2022, with its European section taking place in Berlin. The event was a huge success and fans were eagerly awaiting information about the 2023 fest. After several reports and teases, Niantic finally announced the details of this year’s Pokemon GO Fest, which is the biggest event of the game’s calendar year and draws players from all around the world to participate.

A three-day festival centered on London will mark Pokémon Go’s first-ever Go Fest event in the UK. Taking place from August 4 to 6, the schedule for each day of the Pokemon Go Fest London will be similar to that of the Seattle Go Fest from the previous year, with a half-day spent in Brockwell Park and the remainder of the day spent exploring Greater London, except that incentives will be available all throughout the neighborhood. 

Even though this is the inaugural Pokemon Go Fest London, the game has hosted other events in the English city before. The Ultra Beasts event was hosted at Somerset House, London in November. The excitement will return to Japan with the next Pokémon GO Fest Osaka, which will be the first GO Fest to take place in Osaka on the same dates (4-6 August 2023). In North America, Randall’s Island Park in New York City will host the third Pokemon Go event of the year from August 18 to August 20.

Pokémon GO Fest Global event

The Pokémon GO Fest Global event, which will follow the New York City Fest, will take place on August 26 and 27. The event will allow Trainers from all around the world to participate from their local locations. Up to August 27, 2023, you can get tickets for the global event for $14.99, or the equivalent in your local currency through the in-game shop. Ticket holders will get a medal a few days prior to the event, and they will be able to access the Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global experience by logging in on August 26 or 27, 2023, during event hours.
