Blizzard has recently revealed the big update for Overwatch 2 Season 6. The game will have new fun stuff to play, like PvE adventures, a new support hero, and a new mode to try. But they are also making some changes to two characters, Mercy and Kiriko. These changes will make them a bit weaker in the game. The update is going to be the biggest one ever, so it’s going to be exciting!

Overwatch 2 Season 6: Mercy & Kiriko nerfs

Keller said that many support characters will get some changes, but he wants to talk about Kiriko and Mercy specifically. For Mercy, her ability to boost her ally’s damage will be made a bit weaker. Right now, it increases their damage by 30 percent, but after the update, it will only be 25 percent. It’s not a huge Nerf, but they are trying to make her a bit less powerful.

Furthermore, changes to Kiriko’s ability Protection Suzu will also take effect. This ability can remove bad effects from her allies. The changes to this ability might not seem like a lot to some players, but they can actually make a difference in important tournaments. Even small changes can affect the game and give players either an advantage or a disadvantage.

Players will need to adapt and get used to these changes and nerfs. It’s all part of keeping the game fair and balanced.

A new hero from Peru

Blizzard has been hinting at a new hero joining Overwatch 2 in Season 6. They started teasing the hero in June during a trailer called “Overwatch 2: Invasion.” Since then, the hints and clues about the new hero have been getting stronger.

Players who love investigating online have figured out that the new support hero is likely from Peru. The game director, Aaron Keller showed an image that confirmed one of the speculations: the new support hero gets her powers from the sun. So, it looks like we’re going to have a sun-powered hero from Peru joining the game soon.

Introduction of PVE content

The next season of Overwatch 2 will bring new things like PvE content, a special support hero, and a core mode, making it the biggest update ever. The PvE content will have story missions in different cities like Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, and Gothenburg. Each mission will have its own unique map that players haven’t seen before.

If you want to play these exciting missions, you can get access to them for $15. But wait, there’s more! The bundle will also include 1,000 OW coins that you can use in the game and a cool new Legendary Sojourn skin for your hero. So get ready for an epic adventure in Overwatch 2 Season with all these awesome new features.
